THE END OF BOOK FOUR! Whooooo!

Even better news:

ARMAGEDDONQUEST BOOK TWO IS NOW IN PRINT!

This 52-page puppy not only contains the full 45-page AQ BOOK TWO: BEAST tale, but also an EXCLUSIVE never-before-seen Padre Giorgio illustrated prose short by Ronald Russell Roach himself!  That’s right, a brand new AQ tale fleshing out the world and characters written and drawn by Roach 20+ years after he wrote and drew the main story.  What a treat!

And with that, I’m announcing a 1 Week hiatus.  We’ll be back Monday the 28th with BOOK FIVE!

Tazio gets all Professor Xavier on Garazzi’s ass.  Will this lead to a little abuse of his power in the future, perhaps?

BTW: to all you online readers, do you wonder why the image is always repeated at the top of the post area like above?  In 200px width size?  It’s for mobile readers, believe it or not.  Gotta get with the times, we here at AQ do.  So mobile users can only read the posts and can’t see the giant image in the actual comic area.  But they can click on the smaller image in the post (or “tap” it with their finger) and it’ll blow-up big and then they can scroll around.  Nifty, eh?

I think these must have been the pages drawn on napkins (it’s said that Ron drew some of AQ on bloody NAPKINS, yes).  You can see the ink is somwhat absorbasmudged on the white, like napkin does, plus the slightly too-much-warpage of some of the head’s of the characters like a stretchy pliant napkin might manage.  Good stuff.

Tazio gets trouble from the great Inspector Garazzi!  Garazzi will be featured in a brand new illustrated prose short by Ronald Russell Roach in the third print issue of AQ!  That’s right – a BRAND NEW story that 3R wrote and illustrated just for modern readers of the series!  Coming soon!

Okay, so yet another day skipped, so we had a full week of every-other-day pages posted rather than every day which was the “deal” I made to the 5 people subscribed to the RSS feed.  So I’ve caught up, and the rest of BOOK FOUR is now uploaded and ready to rock.  We’ll be daily again starting today and running through the 19th, where BOOK FOUR ends.  Then I get my mini-sabbatical (anywhere between 3-7 days) before jumping back in for BOOK FIVE.

So in today’s pages – looks like Ulfo has got it all figured out! I mean, what could go wrong? Am I right?

Well, lah-dee-dah! The Ulfae rape Il Grotezco, carry him to term while shifting through their bestial-to-Madonna stages, and then the mysterious ANTON is born! And yes, this is the ANTON ARCANE we’ve been hearing rumors about. The ulfae is/are his parent(s)! So why is he so dangerous? Where has he been all this time? I suppose we have a lot to learn about his life from birth until the present day. And the Ulfae’s for that matter!
